Terms and conditions

1. Information about the seller

The website MyEVCharger.ro is operated by EURO SAAF S.R.L., with its registered office at Strada Trandafirilor, nr. 137, sat Dezmir, comuna Apahida, județul Cluj, 407039, România, Tax ID (CUI / CIF) RO 33957960, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2015000055125.

By using the website or placing an order, you accept these terms in full. These conditions govern contracts concluded with consumers (individuals) in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 34/2014. Orders placed by legal entities (companies) are governed by the Civil Code (Codul Civil) and do not benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity provided for consumers.

2. Formation of the contract

The presentation of products on the website constitutes an invitation to make an offer, not a firm offer. By pressing the “Pay” button, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase. The contract is deemed concluded at the moment EURO SAAF S.R.L. sends the order confirmation by email, within no more than 2 working days of the order being placed. We reserve the right to refuse an order in the event of a pricing error or stock unavailability, with a full refund of the amounts paid within 14 days.

Language of the contract: Romanian. The text of the order is not stored by us after the transaction is completed; we recommend that you save or print the order confirmation received by email, which constitutes proof of the contract.

3. Products and prices

All prices displayed on the website include VAT and are expressed in lei (RON), except where explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is placed and confirmed by email.

The products are intended exclusively for household or individual professional use, in quantities customary for a single end user. EURO SAAF S.R.L. does not accept orders intended for resale.

4. Payment

Payment is made online by bank card (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay or Google Pay, secured by Stripe Inc. We do not store your card details — they are processed exclusively by Stripe, in accordance with the PCI DSS standard. Transactions are encrypted with SSL/TLS. Payment in 3 instalments via Klarna and payment by bank transfer will be available soon; the methods active at any given time are those shown on the Payment methods page and in the checkout form.

5. Retention of title

The products remain the property of EURO SAAF S.R.L. until the price has been paid in full by the customer. The risk relating to the product passes to the customer at the moment of delivery.

6. Delivery

Delivery is made by courier (Sameday Courier) within Romania and is free for products with standard shipping. The estimated delivery time, calculated from the order confirmation, is 1–2 working days for products in our own stock and 7–10 working days for those marked “In stock at distributor”. Products marked “Shipping quoted per order” (DC chargers / oversized items) are delivered by external carriers, and the cost and lead time are communicated individually before the order is placed — see the Delivery and shipping page. Delivery costs are shown during checkout, before payment. Returns are free — the cost of return shipping is borne in full by EURO SAAF S.R.L. in all cases, in accordance with the Returns policy.

7. Right of return (withdrawal from the contract)

Under Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 34/2014 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without having to give any reason. The product must be sent back within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal.

The return can be initiated directly from the Track order section using the order ID — there you will see the products purchased and can select the ones you wish to return. Alternatively, the right of withdrawal can be exercised by sending a statement to contact@myevcharger.ro or via the Contact page. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (under OUG 34/2014 Art. 16): the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• products configured to the customer’s personal specifications (e.g. cables cut to an ordered length);
• accessories whose protective seal has been opened after delivery.

8. Guarantee

All products benefit from a statutory guarantee of conformity of at least 2 years from delivery, under Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 140/2021 on contracts for the sale of goods (which transposes EU Directive 2019/771 and repealed Law (Legea) no. 449/2003 as of 1 January 2022). EV chargers are goods with digital elements within the meaning of art. 2 point 2 of the ordinance, and art. 6 para. (3) obliges the seller to supply the updates necessary to maintain conformity, including security updates. The commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer, where one exists, is in addition to this right and does not replace it; its conditions are detailed in the product documentation.

Any lack of conformity must be reported immediately after it is discovered to contact@myevcharger.ro, with a description of the defect and photo/video evidence, so that it can be assessed and remedied as quickly as possible.

9. Limitation of liability

EURO SAAF S.R.L. is not liable for indirect or incidental damage resulting from improper use of the products. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. The limitation does not apply in cases of fraud or gross negligence, or in situations where Romanian law prohibits the exclusion of liability towards consumers.

10. Intellectual property and external links

All content of the website (texts, images, logos, design) is the property of EURO SAAF S.R.L. or its partners and is protected by copyright legislation. Reproduction without written consent is prohibited.

The website may contain links to external resources (manufacturers, technical guides, payment platforms). EURO SAAF S.R.L. has no control over the content of these websites and accepts no liability for their content or for any damage resulting from accessing them.

11. Disputes, ANPC and SAL

These conditions are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be settled amicably — please contact us first at contact@myevcharger.ro. Otherwise, the competent courts in Romania have jurisdiction.

Consumers have the right to lodge a complaint with ANPC (anpc.ro) and to use the Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL) procedure: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
